Hello September!
Can you believe September is here already? The summer is almost over, we’ve seen Wimbledon and the Olympics come and go, it’s back to school with early starts again, the BBC proms are coming to an end and Autumn is on the horizon.
But don’t worry, there are still lovely things to look forward to in September. For those fashion conscious fans we have fashion week in New York and London so expect social media feeds to be showcasing the latest looks and predicted trends for Winter 2024/2025.
Timothy Roe will be off to the annual London Jewellery Trade Show to catch up with our colleagues, suppliers and industry friends whilst sourcing beautiful stones, gaining insights to the latest trends to bring you new designs and refreshing our knowledge on all things jewellery and gemstones. It should be a great trip. You can also expect to see new pieces coming through the workshop in the following weeks so keep an eye on our Instagram and website!

Market reports show that sapphires and top quality gems like emeralds and rubies have steadily been increasing in price, and therefore value, consistently since the pandemic. Our gemstone broker colleagues have also confirmed this and we have experienced a steady increase when we’ve purchased stones for customers and stock. If you’ve had your heart set on these beautiful stones now would be a great time to buy your dream sapphire, ruby or emerald jewellery. Read more here:
